Auch der schwedischen Presse fiel Aakermans Talent auf und bezeichnet ihn als seither als 'Posaunenvirtuose' oder 'Genie an der Posaune'. The result is the wonderful and energetic album "All Together Now" which consists of Aakerman's own expressive and simple compositions. The music is characterized by a solid jazz feeling and a fantastic flow. Aakerman indeed is an energetic and expressive musician and critics often refer to him as being "a trombone genius".

Together these fine gentlemen of jazz constitute a remarkable talented and enthusiastic quartet. Aakerman has composed all 10 songs on the album, each of which is characterized by simplicity and by being evocative and catchy. Inspiration is gathered from e.g. John Coltrane and Miles Davis. The material of the 10 songs varies from the energetic and wild to the calm, delightful and mild. The style is contemporary jazz with a focus on the groovy sound the happy feeling.
