Als der Ruhm der Bigbands verblasste, leitete der Trompeter Ray Anthony eine äusserst populäre Band. Seine Swing Band hatte Millionen Fans, die seine Vorstellungen in den Ballrooms besuchte und seine Platten kaufte. Diese Zusammenstellung mit Aufnahmen aus den frühen 50er-Jahren sind instrumental und basieren überwiegend auf seinem legendären "Campus Rumpus"-Album. Hier entdeckt man das ungeheuer große musikalische Talent aus seiner jazzigsten Zeit.
