The British singer woman Lucy Dixon is a member of the famous company STOMP since 1996. Thus it is not very surprising that she composed her music creating rhythmic landscapes inspired by the different orchestral facets of STOMP, different rhythms repeated and layered in order to draw up a musical collage. The addition of the tap dance, which Lucy Dixon well controls, and the repetitive vocal loops give to this album an original and unique colour. As for the texts of the songs, these have been inspired to her by her own experiences into a company on tour, the severances, the new friendship, a contemplation on life through the prism of the unceasing journey, a stream of poetic lucidity, her comprehension of life, quite simply… "Me is you now" an album to discover absolutely !

La chanteuse anglaise Lucy Dixon est membre de la célèbre compagnie STOMP depuis 1996. Ainsi il n’est pas étonnant qu’elle compose sa musique en créant des paysages rythmiques inspirés par les différentes facettes orchestrales de Stomp, différents rythmes répétés et superposés pour créer un collage musical. L’adjonction des claquettes que Lucy Dixon maîtrise parfaitement, et les boucles vocales répétitives donnent une couleur particulière, originale à cet album. Quant aux textes des chansons, celles-ci lui ont été inspirées par ses expériences au sein d'une compagnie en tournée, les séparations, les nouvelles amitiés, un regard sur la vie à travers le prisme de voyages incessants, un flot de lucidité poétique, sa compréhension de la vie, tout simplement… ME IS YOU NOW un album à découvrir….
