Sophia Domancich is a fervent follower of "long process" orchestras, such as the quintet Pentacle that she has created six years ago now, and which gives us today its second album. Don't forget that "Triana Moods" is the last recording of the triptych, produced and released by the strengths in presence, after the DAG trio and the duet of S. Domancich and S. Goubert.
If S. Domancich had composed a suite in 8 parts for the first album of Pentacle entitled "Pentecost", in this new opus appear also compositions of Ornette Coleman and Duke Ellington. Besides, she asks us to several duets, privileged moments that she shares with amazing musicians, here since the beginning of the adventure in 2001 : Jean-Luc Capozzo, Michel Marre, Claude Tchamitchian et Simon Goubert. This new album is a mosaic of many sounds and ambiences, filled by fragrances of roses and of flattery for an evocation of these "Triana Moods", Andalusian fanfares and processions, or New-Orleans parades.
Indeed these melodies come from there, from anywhere to nowhere, a sort of love, death, music and jazz anthems. Such declarations are made with friends, in music, on the road, on stage or in studio.
That was the third and the last day of recording, in the studio La Buissonne… with friends.

Sophia Domancich est une fervente adepte des orchestres "aux longs cours", tel le quintet PENTACLE qu'elle a formé, il y a maintenant six ans, et qui nous offre aujourd'hui son deuxième album. "Triana moods" est, rappelons-le, le dernier enregistrement du triptyque, produit et réalisé par Les Forces en Présence, après le trio DAG et le duo de S.Domancich & S.Goubert.
Si pour le premier album de PENTACLE, Sophia Domancich avait composé une suite en huit parties, "Pentecôte" ; dans ce nouvel enregistrement apparaissent aussi des compositions d'Ornette Coleman et de Duke Ellington. Elle nous convie également à plusieurs duos, moments privilégiés qu'elle partage avec des musiciens étonnants, présents depuis le début de cette aventure en 2001 : Jean-Luc Cappozzo, Michel Marre, Claude Tchamitchian et Simon Goubert. Ce nouvel album est une mosaïque de sons et d'ambiances, emplies de parfums de roses et d'encens pour une évocation de ces "Triana moods", fanfares et processions Andalouses, ou défilés aux couleurs de la Nouvelle-Orléans.
Car c'est bien de là que viennent ces mélodies, de partout et de nulle part ; hymnes à l'amour, à la mort, à la musique et au jazz. De telles déclarations se font entre amis, en musique, sur la route, sur scène ou en studio.
C'était le troisième et dernier jour d'enregistrement, au studio La Buissonne… entre amis.
