'Search for Happiness' von den Dynamite Vikings ist geballter, origineller Dynamic Punk Jazz. Komplexe und tonale Jazzelemente werden hier mit hartem, dynamischen Punk Rock gemischt. Es ist diese Art pumpender Musik, die sie glücklich macht, also haben die Dynamite Vikings ihre neue Veröffentlichung konsequent mit 'Search for Happiness' betitelt. Ihr erstes Release 'Vikingology' von 2003 war instrumental und noch sehr jazzlastig. Jetzt flirtet die Combo außerdem mit Punk und Rock. Auf dem aktuellen Album der Dynamite Vikings gastiert zudem Anders Blichfeldt (voc), sonst Frontmann der Pop-Rock Band Big Fat Snake. In den fürs Radio produzierten Versionen von 'Vikings Plan' und 'All These Notes Are Wrong' offenbart er eine sonst weniger bekannte musikalische Seite von sich und beweist, dass er auch rohe, urtümliche Arrangements zur Tonexplosion bringen kann. Wie alle echten Wikinger stammen auch die Dynamite Vikings aus dem Norden Europas. Thommy Andersson kommt aus Schweden und ist aktiver Bassist in Dänemark. Er lässt sich von schwedischem Folk inspirieren und ist Mitglied des Pierre Dørge & New Jungle Orchestra. Jaak Sooäär ist Gitarrist aus Estland, liebt fast jede Musikrichtung, doch spielt am häufigsten mit anderen Jazzmusikern. Kalle Mathiesen aus Dänemark hat sich als begnadeter Drummer einen Namen in den Welten des Rock, Punk und Jazz gemacht.

Search for Happiness by The Dynamite Vikings is a strong and original version of dynamic punk jazz. The Dynamite Vikings are mixing complex and tonal jazz elements with hard and dynamic punk rock. It is the energetic music that makes them happy and that is why they have called their new release for Search for Happiness. The first release of The Dynamite Vikings, Vikingology, from 2003 was instrumental and was primarily using elements of jazz. Now they are flirting with both punk and rock. Furthermore The Dynamite Vikings is featuring a special guest, Anders Blichfeldt, who is the leading vocal in the pop rock band Big Fat Snake. The album Search for Happiness has two radio edits Vikings Plan and All These Notes Are Wrong. On these tracks the vocal of Anders Blichfeldt is involved in a more raw type of music than the pop rock music he is usually associated with. Scandinavian Dynamite As all real vikings the members of The Dynamite Vikings is from Northern Europe ? Thommy Andersson is from Sweden and he is one of the active bass players in Denmark.
