An important album. Recorded by important musicians. Nothing less.
Nicolas Folmer has got all the qualities that make an outstanding musician : an incredible ease with the instrument, a deep knowledge of jazz, an acute musical sense and a talent for composition.
Nicolas is doubtless one of the best professionals of his generation.
I have always considered him a musician of great promise, and so ever since he began his career. I would say the same about Stéphane Guillaume, a wonderful flute player and saxist, who also embodies all those qualities. As for the three great musicians of the rhythmic section, they form the perfect band to accompany them.
I hope the audience and critics will appreciate them as much as they deserve.
