2004 veröffentlichte das dänische Jazztrio Refleks sein vielfach gelobtes Debütalbum 'Elverhøj'. Nun steht das zweite Album der drei jungen Gentlemen um Refleks bereit zur Veröffentlichung. Das Album besteht aus neun exzellenten Stücken, jedes komponiert vom Pianisten Mathias Grove Madsen. Von einer intimen und umfangenden Atmosphäre eingelullt erzählen Refleks mit den neuen Kompositionen neun verschiedene Geschichten – akustische Bilder, die verschiedene Stufen und Momente des Lebens widerspielgeln, etwa Friedfertigkeit, Chaos, Klarheit, Liebe, Suche, Reflektion und Wahrnehmung. Kein Wort wird gesprochen – jede Geschichte erzählt sich allein durch die wundervolle Interaktion zwischen farbenfrohem Pianospiel, resonantem Bass und knusprigen Drums.

In 2004 the Danish jazz trio Refleks released their highly praised debut album “Elverhøj”. Now the 3 talented young gentlemen of jazz have their second album “Refleks” ready for release. 9 excellent songs constitute the album, each composed by talented pianist Mathias Grove Madsen. Deeply rooted in an intimate and cosy atmosphere Refleks renders 9 different stories through 9 different compositions - acoustic images reflecting various stages and moments in life such as peacefulness, chaos, clarity, love, search, reflection and perception. No words are spoken – each story is told through the beautiful interaction between a colourful piano, a resonant bass and crispy drums.
