Celestial Voices
“Thulla is a quirky, soulful Danish singer and songwriter. Her music sounds jazzy, especially as it is accompanied by a jazzy orchestra, but it defies categorisation into a jazzy box. Perhaps it is her energetic, eccentric voice that is almost Björk-like in its raw delivery that makes her stand out. As one critic writes, she sings with the ‘nerves on the outside of her voice’. She has created her own unique blend of jazz, blues, pop and rock that is soulful, dreamy and unforgettable. Her unusual and emotional voice - and lyrics - seep under your skin making you take notice whether you want to or not. She's a singer unaffected by transient trends and manages to sound classical and yet innovative. One to watch”!

“Remember this name: Thulla. Let me be a bridge between you and this very talented artist and her work (...) Whatever category Thulla's music fits into, rest assured it is unconventional. In the spirit of sharing all things good, musical and international, I encourage you to visit www.thulla.net, listen to all the samples and decide which CD you'd like to get first”. David Lilly

She is praised by the big, Danish papers, and her albums are sold to Japan as yet.
